WELCOME TO INTERNATIONAL SALYERS' CUBS 21ST CENTURY PROJECT SAFE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM!
21st Century, is a federal funded grant Tier 2 academic support program that aligns school day academics through social and emotional activities, reading and math tutorials and enrichment activities driven by community input.
Those who participate in the afterschool program increase and strengthen their academic reading, writing and vocabulary skills, along with developing conceptual strategies which aids in improving overall academic performance, behavior and attendance above non-participants.
Spring ISD Project Safe is an afterschool program is offered for Kindergarten through 5th grade scholars at Salyers Elementary. Academic learning and enrichment activities will mirror the school day curriculum to provide all scholars the opportunity to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Salyers Cubs 21st Century Project Safe After School Program will be fully staffed by Certified Teachers, Tutors, Counselors, Paraprofessionals, and Vendors that all share the same passion to see students succeed and grow successfully.
There will also be a great focus on creating, building and sustaining community partners, adult learning opportunities, and many Family Engagement Events offered throughout the school year.
Our program operates Monday thru Friday 3:30-6:30pm. We do have bus transportation for our scholars and you are required to sign up for the Spring ISD services pending approval during the application process.
